A really cool thing about loops is that they can be repeated over and over again for as long of a section of your song as you need.

For example if you just want a strings section in your chorus you can extend the loop through that section and even copy and paste it into all of your chorus sections. It's as simple as pasting in the loop on its own track and then dragging the right side of it over to the end of the section or as near or far as you want it to cover. You can always go back an change it too.

And another cool thing about about loops is that in general they're tempo and key accommodating. So if your song is in the key of C at 60 bpm then your loop will adjust to that automatically.

• Use the new Mix To New Audio Track feature to lock in or set aside the effects work you've done on a track to more easily allow you to focus on other or remaining tracks you want to edit - Mixcraft now has a new Mix To New Audio Track feature allows you to mix down an Audio Track or Virtual Instrument Track with all of its effects to a new audio track.
  
  This is the commonly referred to as "bouncing" a track - taking a track that typically you've edited with effects and merging it all together into a new unified track.

• Take this one a further step by putting two or more audio and or midi tracks together on one track - Use the Mix To New Clip feature to merge several audio or MIDI clips together to form one single clip - process called, you guessed it - merging.
  
  Again, this is a great way to “lock in” edits that you have made to a recording, to combine a bunch of loops into one new loop or to mix multiple MIDI tracks into one MIDI track.
  
  

• And speaking of loops - make your own with Mixcraft - Simply take any sound and make it into a loop.
  
  For example, you could even take an entire section of a song or a single instrument or sound effect (like a highway rush of traffic sound) and cut out a section - essentially extracting a "loop" of it - and set it up to run in a section of the song your working on.
